Ninja vs Comanche

Beginning Analysis: What happens when an assassin from Japan takes on the Southwest's most capable horse rider? Read on to see who...is...deadliest!?

Ninja
Short Range: Ninjato
Medium Range: Shuriken
Long Range: Blowgun
Special: Fan Knife

Comanche
Short Range: War Hawk
Medium Range: War Lance
Long Range: Comanche Bow & Arrow
Special: Scalping Knife

Who Got the Edge
Ninjato vs War Hawk: The Ninjato gets the edge. The Ninjato has a greater reach, and it won't get stuck in a body once it makes an impact.
Shuriken vs War Lance: Both weapons get the edge. The Shuriken are very portable, and a bunch of them flying towards a target can either distract them, or kill them outright if they land in the right spot. Meanwhile, the War Lance can cause severe injuries, and the fact that the force of a horse rider is behind the weapon, makes it very difficult to disarm.
Blowgun vs Comanche Bow & Arrow: The Comanche's bow and arrow gets the edge. It has a greater range than the Blowgun, and while both weapons can kill instantly, the Comanche has a wider variety of arrows at his disposal.
Fan Knife vs Scalping Knife: Both knives get the edge. They're light, concealable, and are capable of inflicting numerous wounds on an individual's body.

Setup
It was dark inside the cave. A Comanche Indian had been in a fierce battle with some kind of Asian horse rider. The battle was intense. The Asian was almost as good on horseback as the Comanche was. Almost. Now the asian is lying dead on his back inside the cave, with a scalped head to show for his loss.
The Comanche had just wiped the blood of his Scalping Knife at the entrance of the cave. The Asian's scalp was now hanging off of the Comanche's leather belt, with blood & skin still attached to the hair. It was a grisly reminder of what was perhaps the Comanche's most intense fight he's had since the time he was born. Now, it was time to leave this small piece of his past behind, and defend his people once more.
The Comanche was just about to go to his horse, when a small metal sliver flew just past his face. He immediately took the bow off of his back, and began to scan the surroundings. Just as he was looking at some bushes, a figure dressed in black loaded a metal sliver into what looked like a hollowed out stick. He aimed it right at the Comanche, and let loose a puff of air into the stick. The metal sliver flew out with amazing speed, but the Comanche somehow heard the sliver flying towards him, and jumped out of the way.
The assassin was surprised with his target's speed. He was loading another metal sliver into his stick, when a sharp whistling sound was coming towards him. A second later, and a arrow pierced his shoulder. The pain was strong enough that he had to drop his stick, and run to a more secure location to pull the arrow out. Seeing that his attacker was on the run, the Comanche jumped on his horse, and gave chase.
A couple minutes later, the Comanche saw his attacher in the middle of a open field, kneeling down on one knee, and grasping the arrow in his shoulder. How stupid of him, the Comanche thought to himself. Grasping his War Lance, the Comanche began riding towards him. As he rode towards him, the Comanche though that his attacker was doing something strange, but didn't pay attention. He got within striking distance, when the attacker suddenly dropped the arrow he was holding, and started throwing metal stars at the Comanche. The Comanche didn't have enough time to react, and got a few of the starts stuck into his chest. He fell of his horse, which galloped away until it wasn't able to be seen again.
The assassin drew a small knife from his belt, and walked right right over the the Comanche. He was still unconscious from the fall off his horse, but still grasped the War Lance in his right hand. The assassin, worried that his target might wake up, went over to take the War Lance away. He was shocked when his target got up from the ground, and started spinning the War Lance all around him.
The assassin didn't want to draw his sword just yet, as he feared that his target's spear might somehow shatter it with one swing, so he sticked with his Fan Knife. The Comanche, meanwhile, started thrusting his War Lance forward in a series of quick strikes. The assassin was trying to look for an opening of some kind, but his target was crafty. The Comanche saw that his attacker was trying to find a way to get inside his range, but he wasn't going to let him.
After a couple minutes of fighting, the assassin finally figured out how to get inside his target's range. He still had an extra throwing star in his pocket, and reached for it. After ducking a particularly deadly strike, he finally had the star, and threw it right at his target's left leg. It got stuck in pretty deep, and he dropped his War Lance to draw out his Scalping Knife to dig the metal object out. The knife blade was stuck into the wound, and the pain the Comanche felt went up considerably. A second later, and the metal star in his leg was tossed to the ground, covered in fresh blood.
The Comanche looked up, and saw his attacker pounce him. The two warriors grapled with each other, slashing at each other with their knives. Finally, the Comanche cut across his attacker's chest with his Scalping Knife, causing him to back off, and start running into a large swathe of tall grass. Putting his knife back into it's sheathe, the Comanche picked up his War Lance, and gave chase once again.

The Comanche was now in the thick of the grass. It was high enough so that if anyone was coming towards him, he'd have to stand on his toes. If someone was coming up from behind, he wouldn't be able to notice them. The trees that he was about to walk under didn't help him feel any better. He was right under the thickest of the trees, when he was pounced upon yet again.
The Comanche got up to his feet, and saw his beloved War Lance broken in half. He turned around, and saw his attacker holding a metal weapon of some kind. The Scalping Knife won't do this time, he thought. He grasped the handle of his War Hawk, and got ready to fight once more.
The two combatants circled each other for a moment, then went in for the kill. The Comanche was swinging furiously, but his attacker's weapon was keeping him at bay. Taking his Scalping Knife, he threw it right at the attacker's weapon in hopes of distracting him, even if it was for just a second or two. Sure enough, the attacker swiped the knife to the ground as the Comanche was coming for him. However, his attacker was much faster than him, and swipped at his back with the metal weapon he was holding. The Comanche suddenly dropped to both of his knees. The pain was intense enough that he couldn't turn around, much less feel something cold go through his neck.
