Mungiki vs Latin Kings Weapons Preview

Mungiki Weapons
FN FAL Assault Rifle: A gun with an interesting history. It was first developed as a prototype back in 1950 between the Belgans, the British, and the United States. After a falling out with the Americans, who loved the gun but didn't like the fact that it used a round other than the standard NATO, it was moved to other countries that would be more willing to use it. Regardless of the politics, the FN FAL was a good assault rifle. It could fire single-round shot, or a switch could be flipped so the gun could fire full auto. On top of that, because the design of the weapon was sent to other countries, it it fairly plentiful.

Skorpion Submachine Gun: Another gun with an interesting history. Many don't know whether to classify it as a machine pistol (full-automatic weapon for single-hand fire) or a submachine gun (same as a machine pistol, but it can be fired from the shoulder). The Skorpion is one of the lightest submachine guns in the world, weighing in at on 1.28kg if it isn't loaded. The Skorpion also can be easily fitted with a silencer, making it a perfect gun for European special forces & terrorists alike.

RPG-7 Rocket Launcher: One of the most recognizable rocket launchers in the world today. Adopted by the Soviets back in 1961, the RPG-7 was initially used as an anti-tank weapon. However, numerous other rockets were developed, widening it's purpose to include anti-personelle attacks. A variation of this rocket launcher, the RPG-7D, is a multi-part weapon used by airborne troops (it does the same thing as it's normal version, only this one can be taken apart and put back together).

Machete: Part tool, part weapon. The Machete has earned a grisly reputation in the hands of the Mungiki. A common item among the group, It is very common for Mungiki members to hack up their victims (whether they're common people or political individuals) with this tool. Some incidents are so gruesome, pictures would cause people to have nightmares for days.

Latin Kings Weapons
AK-47 Assault Rifle: Without a doubt the most recognizable assault rifle in the entire world, the AK-47 has a impressive history. First brought onto the battlefield way back in 1947 as a modified MKB.42 German machine carbine, the AK-47 is also one of history's most simplest guns. Composed of nothing more than stamped steel along with a wood stock and grip, the AK-47 has a track record of firepower and durability. Because of the way it's made, an AK-47 can qo up to 6 months before it has to be cleaned (unlike the early models of the M16, where it could go up to 2 to 3 weeks before it needed to be cleaned).

Uzi Submachine Gun: Another famous gun, this time from the country of Israel. Developed in 1949 by Uziel Gal, the Uzi was released in 1951 for use. Since than time, over 90 countries have adopted the gun for police and military use, although Isreal is still the prime user of the gun, although it is now only in reserve. The Uzi is a perfect weapon for the roles it was made for: it weights only 3.7kg, it's length is 470mm when the stock is closed, fires up to 600 rounds a minute, can accept 25 or 32 round clips, and has a effective range of 200 meters.

M79 Grenade Launcher: Nicknamed the "Thumper" due to the noise the round makes as it leaves the barrel, the M79 is an easily recognizable weapon. Developed back in 1951 by the United States as a way to bridge the gap between hand-thrown grenades and 60mm mortars, the M79 makes a soldier a one-man demolition team. A variety of rounds can be loaded into the gun (some, but not all, include the following: Illum, HE-FRAG, buckshot), and rubber rounds can also be put in to control a crowd. With a firing range of up to 350 meters, the M79 can be devastating.

Stiletto Knife: A favored weapon of mobsters and criminals, the Stiletto we think of is much different than it's medieval ancestor. The medieval Stiletto was much longer, up to a foot to be exact. On to of that, it wasn't a switchblade like the modern version is. Regardless, these blades were light, concealable, and would go in and out of a body in record time.
