Mungiki vs Latin Kings
Beginning Analysis: When happens when Kenyan anti-westerners take on Latino gangbangers. Read on to see who...is...deadliest!?
Mungiki Quick Bio
Although
classified
as
a
street
gang,
the
Mungiki
are
a
bit
more
than
that.
Appearing
in
the
late
80s,
the
Mungiki
are
a
criminal
organization
that
also
contains
political
&
mysterious
religious
elements.
Although
the
origins
&
doctrines
of
the
Mungiki
are
unknown,
what
is
known
is
that
they
favor
a
return
to
native
African
traditions.
They
have
a
deep
hatred
for
all
things
western,
including
Christianity,
and
see
westernization
as
a
force
that
will
kill
traditional
African
values.
The
group
has
been
in
the
news
on
a
frequent
basis,
due
to
their
anti-government
stance
and
extreme
ethnic
violence.

Latin Kings Quick Bio
The
Latin
Kings
are
the
largest
Latino
gang
ever
to
grace
the
United
States,
and
with
a
history
to
boot.
The
gang
was
formed
in
1940s
Chicago,
and
was
mainly
filled
with
Mexican
&
Puerto
Rican
men.
Originally,
the
Latin
Kings's
original
philosophy
was
that
of
overcoming
racial
prejudice.
Overtime,
more
and
more
criminal
elements
seeped
in,
and
eventually
they
became
one
of
Chicago's
toughest
street
gang.
While
primarily
based
in
Chicago,
a
chapter
of
the
Latin
Kings
known
as
"Bloodline"
formed
in
New
York
State
under
Luis
Felipe,
who
was
interned
in
the
state's
correctional
facilities
in
1986.
Regardless
of
the
chapter,
the
Latin
Kings
are
engaged
in
a
variety
of
illegal
activities,
some
of
which
include
assault,
drug
&
arms
trafficking,
extorion,
and
murder.

Who Got the Edge
Machete vs Stiletto Knife: The Machete gets the edge. Simply put, it's length & cutting power gives it more room to use in combat, and the wounds it leave are more difficult to heal.
Skorpion vs Uzi: The Uzi gets the edge. The gun has a much greater firing range (200 meters compared to 25 meters with the Skorpion), longer barrel (400mm compared to the Skorpion's 115mm), and clip size (The Uzi can hold a 25 or 32- round clip, while the Skorpion can hold only either a 10 round or 20-round magazine). The only thing that the Skorpion has over the Uzi is firing rate (850 rounds a minute, compared to the Uzi's 600 rounds a minute).
FN FAL vs AK-47: The
FN
FAL
gets
the
edge.
It
has
a
longer
barrel
(431mm
compared
to
the
AK-47's
barrel
length
of
415mm),
lighter
unloaded
weight
(3.77kg
compared
to
the
AK-47's
unloaded
weight
of
4.3kg),
and
rate
of
fire
(the
FN
FAL
can
fire
from
650
to
700
rounds
a
minute,
while
the
AK-47
can
only
fire
up
to
600
rounds
a
minute).
The
only
advantage
that
the
AK-47
has
over
the
FN
FAL
is
ammo
capacity
(the
FN
FAL
can
take
only
20
or
30
round
clips,
while
the
AK-47
can
accect
30
or
40
round
clips,
as
well
as
the
75
round
drums
of
the
RPK).
RPG-7 vs M79: The
RPG-7
gets
the
edge.
Although
both
launchers
can
be
loaded
with
a
variety
of
explosive
rounds,
the
RPG-7
has
the
distinct
advantage
of
being
able
to
shoot
up
to
a
higher
range
(depending
on
the
rocket
used).
Excluding
round
types,
the
RPG-7
can
shoot
anywhere
from
200
to
500
meters,
while
the
M79
can
only
shoot
anywhere
from
150
to
350
meters.
Common Quality
Extremism: Both
of
these
criminal
groups
are
highly
extreme
in
their
views.
The
Mungiki
hate
the
west
and
it's
beliefs,
and
they
do
everything
in
their
power
to
keep
Kenya
from
becoming
more
and
more
modern.
With
the
Latin
Kings,
you
have
a
group
that
desires
to
have
total
control
over
all
it's
criminal
elements,
and
a
desire
to
transcend
the
concepts
of
racism,
sexism,
and
uneeded
societal
labels.
Setup
New
York
City.
It
was
hot
and
vibrant
in
the
Big
Apple,
especially
since
the
Latino
Pride
Parade
was
going
on.
Floats
were
crawling
along
the
street,
dancers
with
their
brightly
colored
costumes
were
dancing,
and
lively
music
was
playing
for
all
to
hear.
Despite
the
happy
atmosphere,
there
were
those
among
the
crowd
that
were
there
for
more...malicious
purposes.
In
fact,
members
of
the
infamous
Latin
Kings
were
among
the
crowd.
They
were
wandering
around,
looking
for
rival
gang
members
to
take
out
during
the
festivities.
Since
the
cops
would
be
watching
the
parade,
their
activities
would
go
unnoticed.
The
highest
ranking
Latin
King,
Hector,
was
directing
the
attacks
of
the
foot
soldiers
that
were
with
him
in
an
effort
to
blend
in
as
much
as
possible.
It
was
at
the
height
of
the
parade,
when
Hector
and
his
group
gather
in
an
alleyway
to
discuss
what
their
next
actions
were.
Since
the
cops
would
be
watching
the
parade,
the
people
enjoying
the
parade
wouldn't
necessarily
suspect
a
group
of
Latinos
in
an
alleyway
of
doing
anything
suspicious.
"Is
everybody
here?"
asked
Hector.
The
other
Latin
Kings
nodded
their
heads.
"Good."
said
Hector.
"Here's
what's
going.
I
got
word
from
one
of
my
boys,
saying
that
there's
some
group
of
guys
that
have
been
messing
with
us.
He
told
me
that
they
were
gonna
show
up
some
time
during
the
parade
and
try
to
mess
it
up."
"Your
boy
tell
you
who
it
was
that's
been
messing
with
us?"
asked
one
of
the
other
kings.
"He
didn't
say
who
it
was."
Hector
replied.
"It
doesn't
matter
anyway.
They
made
a
enemy
of
the
Latin
Kings
the
moment
they
started
messing
with
us.
Juan,
where'd
you
park
the
van?"
"Just
a
bit
further
down
this
alleyway."
Juan
replied.
"I
parked
it
right
next
to
a
garage,
and
I
brought
the
stuff
too."
"Good."
said
Hector.
"Let's
go."
Hector
and
the
rest
of
the
kings
went
through
the
alleyway.
They
could
hear
the
parade
music
echo
off
of
the
dirty
brick
walls,
and
water
dripping
from
pipes.
There
were
a
few
bums
sleeping
at
random
points
along
the
way.
Most
of
them
paid
the
kings
no
heed,
but
two
of
them
seemed
to
keep
their
eyes
on
them
for
about
a
few
seconds.
After
a
minute,
the
group
arrived
right
next
to
the
van
Juan
was
talking
about.
The
cops
must
have
not
touched
it,
since
(on
the
outside
at
least)
it
look
to
be
undisturbed.
Juan
took
a
key
out
of
his
pocket,
and
unlocked
the
back.
He
opened
the
doors
as
widely
as
he
could,
revealing
a
pile
guns.
"Nice
job
Juan."
said
Hector.
"I
knew
we
could
count
on
you."
"Thanks."
Juan
replied.
"Alright
guys,
dig
in."
The
group
dug
into
the
pile.
Hector
&
Juan
took
an
AK-47,
two
other
kings
took
an
Uzi,
and
the
final
king
reached
for
the
M79
Grenade
Launcher
that
was
buried
below
everything
else.
Everyone
else
was
staring
jealously
at
the
gun,
then
turned
their
attention
to
Juan,
who
had
a
nervous
look
on
his
face.
"What!?"
he
asked
loudly.
"I
managed
to
get
lucky.
That's
all!"
Hector
and
the
rest
of
the
group
went
back
to
checking
their
guns.
Juan
closed
the
door,
and
locked
it
back
up.
The
group
they
quickly
went
back
into
the
alleyway
to
avoid
getting
spotted
by
wandering
cops
or
random
people
from
the
parade
who
got
lost.
When
they
got
back
in
the
alleyway,
they
noticed
that
some
of
the
bums
that
were
there,
were
now
gone.
Hector
and
the
kings
looked
around
to
see
where
they
went,
but
all
that
was
there
was
were
the
dingy
pieces
of
cardboard
where
the
bums
were
sitting
and
sleeping
on.
"Hey
Hector,
where'd
those
bums
go?"
asked
Juan.
"How
should
I
know?"
Hector
asked
back.
"They're
bums.
We
don't
pay
any
attention
to
them
at
all,
and
we
don't
need
to.
Let's
keep
moving!"
The
group
kept
moving
through
the
alleyways,
until
they
caught
up
with
the
parade.
It
was
still
going
on,
and
was
just
as
loud
&
invigorating
as
before.
"Alright."
said
Hector.
"I
just
spotted
some
of
those
guys
that
have
been
messing
with
us.
We
kill
them,
run
for
cover,
and
hide
until
things
calm
down."
"We're
firing
into
the
crowd!?"
Juan
asked
loudly.
"Hey,
they'd
do
the
same
to
us!"
Hector
replied.
"Besides,
you're
a
Latin
King.
You'll
do
what
it
takes
to
protect
the
Latino
nation,
even
if
a
few
innocents
get
killed."
Juan
just
nodded.
"Okay,
here's
the
plan.
We'll
follow
the
parade
a
little
more,
then
when
there's
an
opening,
we'll
all
start
firing.
Then,
we'll
take..."
Before
he
could
finish,
a
loud
wooshing
sound
was
coming
right
towards
them.
They
looked
around
to
see
where
it
was
coming
from.
They
managed
to
look
right
at
a
small
apartment,
and
caught
a
glimpse
of
a
rocket
flying
right
towards
them.
"Duck!"
yelled
Hector.
He,
Juan,
and
one
of
the
other
kings
jumped
right
behind
a
dumpster
to
avoide
getting
hit
by
the
blast.
The
other
kings
started
making
a
break
for
another
dumpster,
when
the
rocket
landed
right
between
them.
It
exploded,
sending
shrapnel
and
explosive
material
right
into
their
body,
and
blowing
their
legs
off
in
the
process.
Their
legless
bodies,
perhaps
out
of
sheer
dumb
luck,
flew
into
the
air,
and
landed
in
a
trashcan.
Mungiki: 5/Latin Kings: 3
"****!"
Juan
yelled.
"What
the
hell
was
that!?"
Before
anyone
could
respond
back,
3
black
men
appeared
on
both
sides
right
above
them,
firing
down
on
them.
Hector
looked
up,
and
aimed
his
AK-47
at
his
closest
attacker.
He
took
a
few
shots,
and
they
landed
right
in
the
chest.
The
attacker
dropped
his
gun,
and
his
body
fell
onto
the
alleyway,
sending
his
nose
right
into
his
brain,
and
cracking
his
skull.
Mungiki: 4/Latin Kings: 3
Hector
looked
at
Juan
and
the
other
king
that
was
with
them.
They
were
pinned
down
by
gunfire
coming
from
the
other
side.
"Juan!"
yelled
Hector.
"What
the
hell
are
you
doing!?
Just
shoot
already!"
Juan
nodded.
He
raised
his
AK-47,
and
started
firing
wildly
at
his
attackers.
Waving
the
gun
back
and
forth,
he
sent
his
entire
clip
right
at
his
foes.
One
of
them
dropped
to
the
roof
just
in
time,
but
his
comrade
took
most
of
the
bullets
to
the
chest
and
the
face.
Fate
&
luck
must
be
having
a
field
day
today,
as
the
body
slipped
off
of
the
roof,
and
landed
in
another
dumpsted,
with
the
lids
closing
just
as
he
impacting
the
metal.
Mungiki: 3/Latin Kings: 3
The
gunfire
immediately
ceased.
If
there
were
still
cops
watching
the
parade,
they
more
than
likely
heard
the
explosion
and
gunshot
by
now.
Hector,
Juan,
and
the
other
king
reloaded
their
guns,
and
slowly
got
up
from
behind
the
dumpster,
all
the
while
cautiously
looking
around
for
anybody
else.
"Hector,
who
the
****
were
those
guys!?"
yelled
Juan.
"How
should
I
*******
know?"
Hector
replied.
"All
I
can
say
is
that
these
guys
definately
aren't
the
ones
that
have
been
messing
with
us."
"Then
who
are
they?"
asked
the
other
king.
"Like
I
said,
how
the
****
do
I
know!"
Hector
replied.
"Instead
of
worrying
about
who's
shooting
at
us,
maybe
we
should
worry
about
getting
out
of
here.
Did
that
cross
your
mind!"
Just
then,
the
other
gunman
on
top
of
the
roof
rose
back
up,
and
fired
back.
One
of
the
bullets
landed
right
in
the
surviving
king's
shoulder.
Juan
quickly
reacted,
and
fired
off
his
AK-47.
The
gunman
was
riddled
with
bullets,
and
his
body
fell
onto
the
roof
in
a
lifeless
heap.
His
blood
came
trickling
down
the
brick
wall,
and
slowly
formed
into
a
small
pool.
Mungiki: 2/Latin Kings: 3
Juan
looked
at
his
fellow
king's
wound.
It
was
bleeding
pretty
good,
but
the
bullet
wasn't
in
deep.
He
took
out
a
knife,
and
pried
the
bullet
out.
It
fell
to
the
ground,
and
made
a
small
klink.
Juan
then
took
a
bandana
from
his
pocket,
placed
it
over
the
wound,
and
put
duct
tape
on
top,
keeping
the
bandana
in
place.
"Can
you
get
up?"
Juan
asked.
The
king
nodded.
He
got
back
up
to
his
feet,
all
the
while
still
clutching
the
bullet
wound
in
his
shoulder.
He
was
still
able
to
move
around,
only
now
he
was
breathing
a
little
more
heavily.
"Where
do
we
go
now?"
the
king
asked.
"We
got
that
way."
Hector
replied,
pointing
at
the
apartment
where
the
rocket
came
from
earlier.
"Man,
we
need
to
get
this
guy
to
a
hospital."
said
Juan.
"He's
still
moving
around."
replied
Hector.
"He
can
still
fight".
Juan
could
sense
the
anger
within
his
friend's
voice.
Since
some
of
his
friends
were
getting
killed,
it
was
understandable.
However,
there
was
a
streak
of
maliciousness
within
his
anger,
and
it
was
this
maliciousness
that
he
was
afraid
of.
The
group
made
their
way
out
of
the
alleyway,
and
onto
the
street.
It
was
completely
barren,
and
the
once
lively
parade
music
was
now
gone.
Floats
were
still
in
the
street,
only
now
they
had
bodies
strewn
all
over
them.
Hector
looked
right
at
the
others,
and
realized
that
Juan
and
the
other
king
that
was
with
him
were
starting
to
see
the
big
picture.
Juan
cleared
his
throat.
"So
what
do
we
do
now?"
he
asked
solumnly.
"We
take
the
fight
to
those
*******."
said
Hector,
who
reloaded
a
clip
into
his
AK-47
as
he
was
talking.
"That
apartment
building
still
has
some
of
those
bastards
that
shot
at
us,
and
shot
up
the
parade.
We
as
Latinos
have
been
a
people
that
never
back
down
from
anybody,
and
we
aren't
backing
down
now!"
Juan
and
the
other
king
nodded.
They
slowly
made
their
way
through
the
ruined
parade,
looking
for
any
cops
that
might
be
looking
around
for
whoever
caused
the
massacre.
They
reached
the
apartment
complex
where
the
rocket
had
come
from,
and
found
it
to
be
as
silent
as
the
street
outside.
Every
step
they
took
echoed
through
the
hallway,
and
the
breathing
seemed
a
little
louder.
The
finally
arrived
at
the
elevator
that
went
through
the
floors
of
the
place,
which
coincidentally
happened
to
be
right
next
to
a
flight
of
stairs.
"Which
one
are
we
taking?"
Juan
asked.
Hector
thought
about
it
for
a
moment
or
two,
then
he
spoke.
"I'll
take
the
stairs,
and
you
and
this
guy
here
take
the
elevator.
Hopefully,
one
of
us
will
get
to
somebody
before
somebody
else
will."
Juan
and
the
other
king
nodded.
They
got
right
in
the
elevator,
and
pushed
the
button
that
went
to
the
top.
Hector
waited
until
the
door
closed,
then
he
started
walking
up
the
stairs.
In
his
mind,
he'd
let
Juan
and
the
other
king
soften
anybody
up
(if
they
found
anybody),
and
he'd
take
out
what's
left.
Hector
got
to
the
top
of
the
stairs,
and
stopped
to
catch
his
breath.
He
looked
around,
and
saw
no
sign
of
Juan
or
the
other
king.
Just
then,
the
elevator
finally
reached
to
the
top.
Juan
and
the
other
king
stepped
out,
and
they
were
surprised
to
see
Hector
standing
there.
"You
didn't
spot
anybody
on
your
way
up
here?"
Juan
asked
with
a
surprised
tone
to
his
voice.
"No."
replied
Hector.
"I
was
too
busy
losing
my
breath
climbing
those
damn
stairs.
I
should
have
just
gone
in
the
elevator
with
you
guys."
Juan
let
out
a
small
chuckle.
They
started
walking
through
the
hallway,
when
a
door
on
the
left
suddenly
slammed
opened,
and
a
African
American
with
a
RPG-7
came
right
out.
He
aimed
it
right
at
Hector
and
his
body,
and
fired.
The
group
ran
right
back
to
the
elevator,
and
while
Hector
couldn't
get
inside,
Juan
and
the
other
king
did.
Juan
pushed
the
button
to
go
down,
but
somehow
the
rocket
got
inside
before
the
door
closed.
An
explosion
rocked
the
elevator,
turning
Juan
and
the
other
king
into
a
pile
of
shredded,
bloody
meat.

Hector
quickly
looked
back,
and
fired
off
his
AK-47.
Some
of
the
bullets
shot
the
RPG-7
out
of
the
gunman's
hands,
and
the
others
went
into
his
body.
The
eyes
rolled
back
into
his
head,
and
blood
trickled
out
of
his
mouth.
A
second
later,
and
the
body
slumped
to
the
floor.
Mungiki: 1/Latin Kings: 1
Still
breathing
heavily,
Hector
wandered
over
to
the
door
where
the
attacker
came
out
of.
He
stacked
up
on
the
right
side
of
the
door,
then
slowly
crept
inside.
The
room
wasn't
necessarily
the
nicest
around.
It
wasn't
unpleasant,
but
it
definately
looked
like
noone
had
cleaned
in
a
while.
Hector
still
gripped
the
AK-47
in
his
as
he
wandered
from
room
to
room.
Finally,
he
was
about
to
pass
by
a
closet
near
the
elevator,
when
another
African
American
popped
out
with
a
Machete.
He
surprised
Hector,
causing
him
to
drop
his
gun.
Hector's
attacker
started
swinging
the
Machete
wildly,
and
on
a
couple
times,
almost
managed
to
scratch
Hector's
throat.
After
one
swing,
Hector
finally
took
out
a
Stiletto
from
his
pocket.
He
flipped
the
blade
out,
and
now
was
ready
to
fight
back.
Hector
started
to
swipe
and
his
attacker,
keeping
him
at
a
distance.
His
attacker
went
back
to
swinging
his
Machete,
and
managed
to
get
a
slice
in
on
Hector's
chest.
He
dropped
to
his
knee,
and
his
attacker
was
about
to
get
another
swing
in,
when
the
Stiletto
went
right
into
his
chest.
Hector's
attacker
fell
to
the
floor,
and
started
crawling
away,
leaving
a
trail
of
blood.
Smiling,
Hector
just
casually
walked
along
side
his
dying
attacker.
Hector
finally
decided
to
end
his
attacker
life,
and
dropped
to
his
knees
so
he'd
be
closer
with
his
knife.
He
grapped
the
back
of
his
attacker's
shirt,
and
was
about
to
plunge
the
knife
into
the
back
of
his
head,
when
his
opponent
suddenly
grabbed
another
Machete
from
inside
the
closet,
and
sliced
off
Hector's
hand.
Hector
howled
out
in
pain,
and
slammed
against
the
wall.
His
attacker
rose
up,
with
a
Machete
in
hand,
and
proceeded
to
drive
it
into
Hector's
head.
Once
the
blade
reached
the
brain,
Hector's
life
was
done.
