Who Got the Edge
Ild vs Sword of Mars: The
Sword
of
Mars
gets
the
edge.
Although
the
Ild
is
a
larger
blade,
it
only
has
the
cutting
edge
on
one
side,
and
it
can
take
some
energy
to
use
because
of
it's
size.
With
the
Sword
of
Mars,
you
have
two
cutting
edges
as
well
as
a
fine
point,
and
the
sword
doesn't
take
much
energy
to
use.
Lasso vs Glaive: The
Glaive
gets
the
edge.
With
the
Lasso,
you
have
to
time
it
just
right,
and
even
then,
you
won't
necessarily
get
an
instant
kill.
With
the
Glaive,
a
stab
to
the
chest
or
head
will
get
an
instant
kill.
Even
slicing
off
an
arm
or
leg
will
get
a
kill,
albet
a
slow
one
at
that.
Mongol Bow & Arrow vs Hunnic Composite Bow: Both
bows
get
the
edge.
They
were
both
composite
bows,
which
allows
the
user
to
put
his
strength
into
each
shot,
and
were
highly
accurate.
Flanged Mace vs Scythian Axe: Both
weapons
get
the
edge.
Neither
warrior
is
wearing
any
effective
headgear,
and
these
weapons
are
devastating
when
they
go
for
the
old
noggin.
A
single
blow
with
give
either
warrior
an
instant
kill.
Setup
It
was
afternoon
on
the
plains
of
Eastern
Europe.
The
sun
was
right
up
in
the
middle
of
the
sky,
it
rays
warming
the
grass,
and
there
wasn't
a
sign
of
any
hostile
weather
around
for
miles.
The
mood
was
right
for
a
battle.
A
Hun
scout
working
for
Atilla
had
been
riding
through
the
plains,
looking
for
any
sign
of
an
invasion.
The
scout
was
considered
to
be
the
best:
very
few
opponents
had
manage
to
escape
him,
much
less
defeat
him.
His
skill
with
the
bow
was
said
to
rival
that
of
Atilla
himself,
and
he
wasn't
a
slouch
when
it
came
to
close
quarters
combat.
Just
in
case
his
master
wanted
somebody
alive,
the
scout
always
had
his
trusty
Lasso
on
his
horse's
saddle.
Noone
would
be
able
to
escape
one
the
rope
was
tightened
around
their
arms
&
waist.
The
scout
spotted
what
at
first
looked
like
another
Hun.
Taking
out
his
spyglass,
he
peered
through
it,
and
saw
that
it
wasn't
another
of
his
people.
This
person
rode
on
a
smaller
(but
no
less
sturdy)
horse,
and
seemed
a
bit
taller
than
he
was.
Thinking
that
he
was
one
of
Atilla's
guards
just
on
a
ride,
the
scout
rode
over
to
see
who
this
individual
was.
The
scout
finally
got
close
enough
to
get
a
good
view
of
the
horseman
he
saw,
when
an
arrow
flew
just
past
his
face.
The
scout
looked
back,
and
saw
the
horseman
ready
another
arrow.
Gripping
his
Lasso,
the
scout
began
to
twirl
it
over
his
head
as
he
rode
towards
the
hostile
horseman,
who
finally
fired
the
second
arrow.
This
one
also
missed
the
scout,
but
it
had
also
managed
to
create
a
small
cut
on
the
scout's
left
cheek.
Holding
in
the
pain,
the
scout
continued
to
ride,
swirling
the
Lasso
as
fast
as
he
could.
By
this
time,
the
other
horseman
had
begun
to
retreat
towards
flatter
ground.
The
scout
was
close,
but
a
miscalculated
throw
with
the
Lasso
caused
it
to
become
useless
as
it
hit
the
dirt.
The
scout
cursed
his
momentary
bad
luck.
It
was
rare
when
he
didn't
get
someone
in
his
Lasso's
grasp.
Grabbing
his
bow,
the
scout
began
to
chase
down
the
hostile
horseman,
who
was
almost
out
of
his
range.
Spirring
his
horse,
the
scout
continued
on
his
path
of
revenge.
The
scout
had
view
of
the
hostile
horseman
one
again.
He
readied
his
bow,
and
fired
an
arrow.
It
missed,
and
he
readied
another
arrow.
He
raised
his
bow
again,
and
saw
that
the
horseman
had
just
fired
an
arrow
right
at
his
chest.
Releasing
his
own
arrow
in
defense,
the
scout
saw
that
his
had
deflected
the
oncoming
projectile.
Readying
a
final
arrow,
the
scout
aimed
him
bow,
and
fired.
This
arrow
actually
hit
the
horseman
right
in
the
shoulder,
and
he
fell
right
off
his
horse.
The
scout
slowed
down,
then
got
off
of
his
horse.
He
reached
into
his
napsack,
and
took
out
his
double-sided
sword.
He
gripped
it
in
his
right
hand,
and
went
over
to
the
horseman.
The
Horseman
was
still
in
pain,
and
saw
that
his
opponent
was
coming
closer
&
closer.
He
pulled
the
arrow
out,
and
quickly
drew
out
his
own
curved
sword.
The
scout
finally
got
in
close,
when
the
horseman
started
swinging
at
him
left
and
right.
The
scout
wasn't
comfortable
on
the
ground,
be
he
knew
how
to
get
an
attack
upclose.
He
raised
his
sword,
and
blocked
the
horseman's
move.
The
scout
then
started
attacking
back,
trying
to
trip
up
the
horseman's
game.
Sure
enough,
the
scout
managed
to
hit
his
opponent's
sword
out
of
his
hand.
In
return,
the
scout
received
a
punch
to
the
face.
He
went
flying
to
the
ground,
and
his
sword
flew
into
some
shrubs.
The
scout
then
got
up
from
the
ground,
and
both
he
and
the
horseman
went
back
to
their
horses
to
grab
the
weapon
that
would
end
the
fight.
The
horseman
came
back
first,
holding
a
wicked
iron
mace.
The
scout
came
back
second,
and
he
had
a
devious
Scythian
Axe.
The
curved
blade
gave
the
weapon
a
pendelum
look,
and
the
pick
in
the
back
could
tear
into
anything.
The
warriors
caught
sight
of
each
other,
and
charged.
They
went
right
back
at
it:
the
horseman
swung
the
mace
with
two
hands,
while
the
scout
gripped
his
axe
tightly
with
his
right
hand,
and
swung
left
and
right.
He
got
a
blow
in
on
the
horseman's
stomach,
and
his
opponent
stopped
moving.
The
horseman
acted
back
up
again,
and
got
an
attack
applied
to
his
back.
His
grip
on
his
mace
lessened,
and
he
then
fell
to
his
knees.
The
scout
stepped
back
for
a
second,
flipped
his
axe
around,
and
struck
at
the
horseman's
head.
The
body
trembled
for
a
moment,
then
slumped
down
to
the
ground
in
a
pile.

Ending Assessment: Although
both
warriors
were
closely
matched,
the
Hun
managed
to
win
due
to
sheer
scrapinees.
Strongest
Weapon:
With
a
high-flying
300
kills,
the
Hunnic
Composite
Bow
takes
the
strongest
weapon
spot.
Weakest
Weapon:
In
contrast,
the
Hun's
Lasso,
with
it's
10
kills,
is
the
weakest
weapon
of
this
fight.
The Sword of Mars is only for Attila the Hun. I'm pretty sure the Huns used a different sword. Also, I think the Mongols should have won. They are really underappreciated.
