Persian Immortal vs Samurai

Beginnig Analysis: What happens whet elite soldiers from opposite ends of the globe go head to head? Read on to see who...is...deadliest!?

Persian Immortal
Short Range: Scimitar
Medium Range: Persian Spear
Long Range: Persian Bow & Arrow
Special: Chariot Scythe

Samurai
Short Range: Katana
Medium Range: Naginata
Long Range: Yumi
Special: Kunabo

Who Got the Edge
Scimitar vs Katana: The Katana gets the edge. The length of the blade will allow the Samurai to get in hits before the Immortal can land a blow with the Scimitar.
Persian Spear vs Naginata: The Persian Spear gets the edge. Although both weapons are the same length, the spear can bludgeon as well as stab.
Persian Bow & Arrow vs Yumi: Both bows get the edge. They could shoot arrows up to a long distance, and were highly accurate as well.
Chariot Scythe vs Kunabo: The Kunabo gets the edge. The Chariot Scythe will hurt like hell, but they won't kill you outright. With the Kunabo, it takes just one hit to kill.

Setup
In the hillsides of Edo, two Samurai (Kiyoji &Tsuji) were patrolling the roads for any sign of trouble. The clear sky and bright sun illuminated everything that was before them. Having heard of two foreign warriors riding around in a wagon of some sort, they were told to bring these individuals to justice. Or kill them if they resisted.
Kiyoji & Tsuji stopped under a particularly large elm tree for a break. Tsuji pulled out a small package of rice & tempura, while Kiyoji took from his belt a clay bottle of sake, and two pairs of chopsticks. They began to eat & drink, until one of them thought they had heard a scream.
Tsuji got up. "Did you hear that?"
Kiyoji just continued eating. "Nope." he said. "I didn't hear a thing."
Tsuji went right over, and pulled Kiyoji from his food. "You must be deaf. Listen!"
Kiyoji put his ear to the wind, when he heard the same scream. "I guess you're right." he said.
"Let's get moving!" Tsuji said loudly. "Somebody could be in trouble!"
"I'm coming, I'm Coming." Kiyoji said hastily. He went over to pick up his weapons, as well as the Sake bottle from their lunch. Tsuji let out a small sigh, noting his comrade's gluttony.
"Can fight without your liquor, can you?" Tsuji asked.
"Nope, I can't." Kiyoji responded. With that last comment, the two Samurai began running down the dirt road in search of the scream's source.
Moments later, and Tsuji & Kiyoji still hadn't found the source of the scream they had both heard. They did hear, however, and creaking sound, coming right towards them.
"I bet you hear that sound?" Tsuji asked.
"Yep." Kiyoji responded plainly. "I don't quite know where it's coming from, though."
As they were trying to locate the source of the creaking noise, Tsuji suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of his left shoulder. Kiyoji looked, and saw that an arrow pierced his comrade's armor. While trying to pull it out, Kiyoji was suddenly slammed into the bushes, and Tsuji was knocked to the edge of the hillside. A second later, and Tsuji lost his footing, causing him to fall right off the hill. His body went tumbling, slamming against rocks & tree stumps on the way down.

Kiyoji ran over to the edge of the hillside, just in time to his Tsuji finally hit the bottom. "Tsuji! Tsuji!" he yelled. The broken body of Tsuji didn't make a sound, or move for that matter. Kiyoji walked back, and wiped a few tears from his eyes. The sorrow was then replaced by anger, and a desire for vengeance flodded Kiyoji's mind. He grabbed his weapons from the bushes, and ran down the dirt road in pursuit of his attackers.
A minute later, and Kiyoji caught sight of his assailants. Apparently, they had turned around, and were riding back towards him. On the wheels of the wagon were large iron spikes, which could tear a man's legs from his body. Getting the Yumi off of his back, he readed an arrow, and aimed it at the wagon. The arrow flew from his sight, and right at his attackers. It landed right in the throat of the passenger. He grasped at his neck for a moment, then fell right off the wagon in a lifeless heap.

The controller of the wagon quickly looked back, the forward again to see Kiyoji reading another arrow. He immediately stopped the horses, and got off the wagon. He was holding his own bow, with an arrow already knocked onto the string. He pulled up the bow, and fired. The arrow flew towards Kiyoju, who simply shot it out of the air, seding both arrows to the ground.
Furious, Kiyoji's attacker threw his bow to the ground, and picked up a spear that Kiyoji hadn't seen before. The tipe was wide, and at the end of shart was a small ball of iron. Kiyoji had to be careful of that.

His attackers immediately charged him, intent on killing him. In response, Kiyoji picked up his Naginata, and readied himself for the oncoming attack. His attacker arrived a moment later, wildly thrusting the spear. Kiyoji was surprised at his opponent's speed, but he was just as fast, if not faster. After a nearly fatal spear thrust, Kiyoji jumped to the side, and sliced at the spear, cutting it in half. A second later, he kicked his attacker to the ground, in hopes of getting a quick kill.
Just as Kiyoji was about to thrust his Naginata into his attacker's chest, his assailant got up from the ground, and drew out a sword that he had never seen before. Seeing a perfect opportunity to show off the highest ideals of Bushido, he thrusted his Naginata into the ground, and drew out his Katana. He gripped it tightly in both of his hands, and began to walk around his attacker. Then, without warning, he struck.
Kiyoji immediately went after his opponent's weapon, hoping to disarm him, and end the fight. His opponent, however, seemed to know of Kiyoji's plan, and began defending himself. The long, steel blade of the Katana was blocked by the curved blade of the attacker. I'm surprised by my opponent, Kiyoji thought to himself. Nobody he had ever fought was able to defend against his attacks effectively. He had finally found an opponent that was as good as he was.
Their battle continued. Both warriors were now starting to feel fatigued, and were doing the best they could to not fall asleep. Despite their fatigue, they were still capable of fighting, which was evident in the sound of steel against iron being moved by the wind. In a moment that Kiyoji's attacker would never forget, the Katana went right through his wrist, causing his hand (which was still clutching his sword), to fall to the ground. He howled in pain, and dropped to one knee. Trying to cover up the wound, the attacker failed to noticed a large, iron-studded club coming down onto his head, knocking him into the afterlife.

Persian Immortal: 0/Samurai: 1

Samurai: 522
Katana: 200
Naginata: 150
Yumi: 150
Kunabo: 22

Persian Immortal: 478

Ending Assessment: The Samurai was more disciplined, carried better equipment, and went into battle expecting to die in glory.
Strongest Weapon: Both sides carried strong weapons. The Samurai's Katana, and the Persian Immortal's bow, got 200 kills each.
Weakest Weapon: Given it's weight, and 22 kills, the Kunabo is the weakest weapon of this fight.
