K.G.B. vs C.I.A. (Redux & Expanded)

Beginning Analysis: What happens when the secret police of the Kremlin takes on America's team of spies & saboteurs? Read on to see who...is...deadliest!?

C.I.A. Quick Bio
Formed in 1947 by the National Security Act (NSA for short) as a successor to Office of Strategic Services, the primary job of the C.I.A. was to gather intel on foreign governments, corporations, and specific individuals, as well as advise public policymakers. In 1948, their list of tasks expanded to include sabotage & anti-sabotage, demolition, evacuation measures, subversion & assistance to underground movements, guerillas & refugee liberation movements, and supporting anti-communist movements in countries threatened by the Soviet Union. With the collapse of the U.S.S.R. in 1991, the C.I.A. continued relations with a few other intelligence groups in other countries, and their presence can still be felt in just about every part of the world

Medium Range: Briefcase Gun
Long Range: MAC-10 Submachine Gun
Explosive: Exploding Cigar

K.G.B. Quick Bio
Coincidentally formed in 1954, just seven years after the C.I.A., the Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (Russian for Committee for State Security. KGB for short), was the premier internal security, intelligence, and secret police of the Soviet Union until it's collapse in 1991. Unlike the C.I.A., the K.G.B. operated with far fewer restrictions, thus allowing it to get away with things like torture. Outside of the Soviet Union & Soviet Bloc, they secretly worked to spread Communism all over the work through careful eliminations and information gathering. Within Soviet territory, they worked as the government's eyes & ears, squashing any form of dissent before it got out of hand.

K.G.B. Weapons
Short Range: Shoe Knife
Medium Range: Camera Gun
Long Range: OTs-O2 Kiparis Submachine Gun
Explosive: Dead Drop Spike
Special (1): Kiss of Death
Special (2): Spy Umbrella

Who Got the Edge
Cane Sword vs Shoe Knife: The Cane Sword gets the edge. It has a larger reach than the Shoe Knife, and can be used in a wider variety of attacks. It's only disadvantage was that if someone was looking carefully (emphasis on the word carefully), it was possible that the weapon might be discovered.
Briefcase Gun vs Camera Gun: Both undercover firearms get the edge. With the Briefcase Gun, you have a silenced pistol hidden within a briefcase, and can fire it multiple times. The downside is that you will more than likely be spotted after 1 or 2 shots, and if someone decides to inspect the briefcase, then the agent is exposed. In regards to the Camera Gun, you have a weapon that is virtually undetectable (unless someone sees the few wisps of smoke coming from the camera), and very portable. On the other hand, the Camera Gun is a one-shot weapon, and it has to be used in a very short distance (the weapon's effective range is only 10 feet).
MAC-10 vs OTs-O2 Kiparis: Both submachineguns get the edge. The MAC-10 has a higher firing rate (1090 rounds a minutes while the Kiparis fires only 600 to 900 rounds a minute),  and ammo capacity (can accept 32-round clips, while the Kiparis can only take 20 or 30-round clips). The Kiparis, on the other hand, has a longer barrel (156mm compared to the MAC-10's barrel length of 146mm), lighter weight when unloaded (1.57 kg compared to the MAC-10's unloaded weight of 2.84 kg), and a greater firing range (the Kiparis can fire up to 100 meters, while the MAC-10 can only fire from 50 to 70 meters).
Dead Drope Spike vs Exploding Cigar: The Dead Drope Spike gets the edge. Watch K.G.B. vs C.I.A. for details.
Kiss of Death vs Pipe Pistol: Both covert guns get the edge. With either of this devices, you had to get in extremely close to kill a target, and nobody ever expected to find a weapon inside a bottle of lipstick or a smoking pipe.
Spy Umbrella vs Portable Hand Crossbow: The Portable Hand Crossbow gets the edge. Although it isn't necessarily concealable like the Spy Umbrella is, it has the distinct advantage of getting one-shot kills immediately. With the Spy Umbrella, you also need just one shot, but the poison generally takes 3 days before it kills you.

Common Quality
Secrecy: Both of these organizations were secretive to the extreme. Even to this day, Russia has released very little documentation on the K.G.B.'s activities. The same goes for the C.I.A., as there have only been a few documents released about their actions. On top of that, both spy groups were never seen or felt by their enemies until it was too late.

Setup
September 2, 1980.  About one year earlier, a group of C.I.A. agents had infiltrated the U.S.S.R. embassy in Washington D.C. on a tip that the Russians had vital intel that may provide some possible insight on a attack against U.S. soil. They went right into the embassy, but had encountered a trap. The K.G.B had discovered what the C.I.A. were planning, and planted a few agents of their own to intercept them. After a fierce battle that took place throughout a good deal of the embassy, one C.I.A. barely made it out alive. This made the Soviet Government furious, and they decided to plan a counter-attack.
Fast forward to September 2. It was now time for their plan to be put into motion. The Soviet government, along with the K.G.B., choose the Pentagon as their target. No other agent as ever managed to get into the place, until now. The Soviets had managed to first send in 4 K.G.B. agents, 3 of them getting jobs as low-ranking secretaries, and the other as a janitor. 2 other K.G.B. agents would later arrive to hook up with the established agents. Hopefully, their attack would go off without a hitch.
It was the day of the attack. The two K.G.B. agents on the outside were arriving in a undisguised maintanence van. They drove up to the checkpoint, and after a quick examination, the guards allowed them to pass through. If they were stopped, then the operation would have little chance of succeeding, as they were carrying the firepower needed for the attack.
They finally stopped the van, and got out. One of the K.G.B. agents opened up the back of the van, and took out a large mechanics bag. They were just about to leave the garage, when the second K.G.B. agent left behind a Dead Drope Spike on the driver's seat, just for good measure. They closed the doors, and exited the garage.
After 3 minutes, they arrived at a side door into the pentagon. It lead into the maintanence room, where they had ample time to look through the weapons they had. There were two Kiparis Submachine Guns, pre-loaded, and equipped with silencer. A nice pair of brown loafers with two Shoe Knives were also found, as well as a spare Dead Drop Spike. The two agents dolled out who got what, unaware of a third presence in the room. When they were properly setup, the presence revealed itself.
"Well, Well, what do we have here? Two K.G.B. agents not looking over their shoulder. For shame."
"Natasha, is that you?" one of the K.G.B. agents asked.
"Pavel, I'm surprised that you remember me." Natasha replied. "Belinski, I see you're here as well."
"Indeed." replied Belinski. "We got here as soon as we could. Is everything ready?"
Natasha reached into her purse, a pulled out a vial of red lipstick. "A girl like me is always prepared for a situation like this. How about you two?" she replied.
Pavel & Belinski held up their Kiparis Submachine Guns, and Natasha simply knodded. "What about the others?" Belinski asked.
"They already have weapons." said Natasha. "Our "janator" is getting his umbrella as we speak, Mikhail is grabbing his Camera Gun from his locker, and Ivan has a Kiparis also."
"When do we move out?" Pavel asked.
"We move out now." replied Natasha.
Pavel & Belinski knodded. They hid their weapons within their clothing, and they were the first to leave, so as not to cause suspicion. Natasha put her lipstick back into her purse, and left a minute after her partners did. She still had to hold up her end of the ruse, so she went back to her desk job. Hopefully, the C.I.A. still didn't catch on her trick.
A few minutes later, Natasha arrived back to her desk. It was her job to get close to the director, and eventually take him out. She sat back down, and started going through the papers on her desk, when the director popped through door. "Natasha, do you have a minute?"
"I suppose director." she replied. "What do you need?"
"Can you come into my office?" the director asked. "There's something I need you to talk about."
"I'll be with you in a moment." replied Natasha. The director closed his door, and Natasha started fumbling through her purse. Was the director going to try & hit on her again, or did they somehow found out about the attack, she thought to herself. Finally, she found her lipstick, and stuck in in her shirt pocket. Natasha got up from her chair, and finally went into the director's office.
"Good, you're here." the director said. "There's something I need to tell you."
"What is it?" Natasha asked nervously.
The director started speaking. "A few days ago, we received a communique that the Russians were planning something. We know that they're trying to target the Pentagon...again, but we don't know when."
Natasha slowly pulled out her lipstick while the director was talking. His back was turned to her, so he didn't realize what she was doing. "What do you need me to do?" she asked as she pulled the top off of the lipstick.
The director started turning around. "I need you to get a few of the...wait, what's that?"
Natasha looked down at her hand. "This?" she asked. "It's just a vial of lipstick. I was going to put it on so I wasn't so plain looking when I was going around doing things."
"Oh, alright then." the director replied, turning his back to Natasha again. "Try to be descreet. I don't want the entire complex to start panicking about..."
A small bang echoed through the director's office. He felt a small hole in his neck, and started to feel a little week. He slowly turned around, and saw Natasha holding his smoking vial of lipstick right at him. Natasha just tossed the vial of lipstick to the floor, and started to leave the office, but failed to see the director reach for his smoking pipe. A second later, a small bullet went right through the back of her head, and out between her eyes. He fell to the floor a second later, and Natasha fell through the director's glass door.

C.I.A.: 5/K.G.B.: 5

An office worker heard the commotion, and came rushing in. He saw the bodies of the director and Natasha lying dead on the floor. He panicked, and flipped off the fire alarm. The alarm started echoing through the office building.
Pavel & Belinski heard the alarm. Their cover must have been blown, they thought to themselves. They started looking for a room to regroup, when they saw a door to their right opened up. Curious, they ducked right inside into a break room, and were greeted by two familiar faces.
"Mikhail, Ivan. Is that you?" Pavel asked.
"It is." replied Ivan. "What the hell is going on?"
"Not sure." said Belinski. "One moment, we're going though the hallways. The next moment, an alarm goes off. We're just as confused as you."
"That's just great." Mikhail said. "Our cover is possibly blown, and to top that off, Chezky hasn't been found."
"Chezky?" asked Pavel. "Is he the "janitor" that Natasha talked about?"
"Yes." Mikhail replied. "He's been going through the hallways setting up firepoints and alternative routes. Unfortunately, he's been dark for the past half hour, and I think he might have been compromised."
"So what do we do now?" asked Belinski.
"We do what we came here." responded Ivan, pulling out his Kiparis, and loading in a clip. "Let's move out!"
Everybody got their weapons ready, and headed out of the break room. The hallways were now completely deserted, and not a soul was to be seen. The four K.G.B. agents were keeping their eyes open for anyone who would try to shoot at them. As if on cue, a C.I.A. agent ducked out from behind a column, and blasted at the K.G.B. with a MAC-10. Pavel, Belinski, and Mikhail went prone to dodge the bullets, while Ivan had bullets go through his waist. He walked for an extra second, but dropped to his knees, and went unconscious. After 30 seconds, he died from bleeding out.

C.I.A.: 5/K.G.B.: 4

The C.I.A. agent kept firing on their position. Pavel waited until the gunfire stopped, then he ran out to grab Ivan's Kiparis. Right before the C.I.A. agent could fire again, Pavel raised his duel Kiparis, and let loose with both submachine guns. The hail of bullets went into the C.I.A. agent, whose body shook when the bullets landed into him. His body bumped into to the column, and slowly slumped down, leaving a bloody trail.

C.I.A.: 4/K.G.B.: 4

Mikhail walked right up to Pavel, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Nice shooting" he said.
Pavel reloaded his guns. "Thanks" he replied. "Now, let's find Chezky. He's got to be in here somewhere."
Just then, a janitor was walking towards them. The three K.G.B. agents couldn't tell who it was. Mikhail, wary of it being another C.I.A. agent, he raised his Kiparis, and fired off a warning shot at the janitor's feet. The janitor jumped out of the way, and that was when the three saw the umbrella he was holding. "Chezky, I hope that's you." Mikhail said.
"Yes it is, you idiot!" Chezky yelled. "You owe me a drink after that shot!"
"Fair enough." Mikhail replied. "Get the hell over here!"
Chezky ran over to Mikhail and the others. They went back into the break room, and Chezky filled them in.
"First off, where the hell have you been?" asked Mikhail. "You been dark, and we though that you were compromised."
"Sorry." Chezky said. "I had to go dark. I thought that they were following me around, So I had to stay silent."
"Good point." Mihkail.
"There's something else you should know." Chezky said. "Natasha's been killed. Luckily, she managed to take out the director before she died. I guess we're now on our own."
"It seems so." Pavel said. "Then let's get out of here. We've caused enough damage."
"We can't go through the maintanence room." Chezky said. "They'll more than likely have somebody there. Follow me. I know a alternate route out of here."

The other agents knodded, and started following Chezky. At this stage, the whole Pentagon was on high alert. They had to keep their eyes out for anything strange.
After 5 minutes, the group was wandering through a bunch of cubicles. The walls were high, which created numerous hiding spots. Pavel, in a fit of curiosity, walked up to Chezky and started a conversation with him.
"Chezky, mind telling me where we're going?"
"A fire exit." replied Chezky. "When I was scouting out other exits, I stumbled across this one. There's no camera around or in it, so nobody will see us going through."
"That's a relief." said Pavel. "I'm glad that...did you just hear that?"
The group stopped right in their tracks, and starting looking around. When they saw nothing, they started creeping towards the fire exit, then they heard something again. Mikhail put a hand in front of the group, stopping any further movement. He slowly crept up to a cubicle, and started to look around the corner. A length of steel came down on the back of his neck, turning his head into a soccer ball.

C.I.A.: 4/K.G.B.: 3

Pavel ran over to his friend's body, and picked up the Camera Gun he was holding. He quickly raised it, and managed to fire off a shot before the assailant could find cover again. The bullet went through the base of the skull, and turned the grey matter inside into a soupy mess. The assassin fell to his knees, and slumped against a wall of the cubicle next to him. The eyes didn't rolled back into the corpse's head, and continued to stare out into space.

C.I.A.: 3/K.G.B.: 3

"Damnit." growled Pavel.

"We shouldn't keep going." Belinski said. "They must have assumed that we would go this way."
"You're right." Chezky replied. "The problem is, we're too far away from the maintainence room. This is the only close way we can use to get back to the garage. We need to keep going."
Pavel & Belinski reluctantly agreed. They walked over Mikhail lifeless body, and went through the fire exit.
The fire exit must was on a higher level of the Pentagon, as Belinksi looked down at all the flights of stairs. "Couldn't we have just found an elevator?" he asked. "It would make this a lot simpler."
"The elevator wouldn't be safe." Chezky replied. "They probably would have rigged a couple of them to explode if we pushed the down button. Besides, it's not that bad."
"That's what you think." replied Belinski sarcastically.
The three K.G.B. agents started walking down the stairs. It was strange that the fire alarm didn't go off when they opened the door, but that didn't matter. They needed to get away from the Pentagon as quickly as they could, so thoughts like that were a detrement.
They got down about half way, when a C.I.A. agent suddenly rushed them from below. Pavel and Belinski started firing at him, but were missing him. The bullets bounced off the cement steps, creating loud echoes in the fire escape. The C.I.A. agents was within shooting distance, when Belinski handed his Kiparis to Chezky, and started down the stairs. What are you doing, Chezky yelled.
"Losing my mind." replied Belinski, and he continued down the stairs. He met up with the C.I.A. agent, who was a rather plain looking person. Belinski tapped his shoes together, and two knives popped out. The C.I.A. agent oddly enough put down his MAC-10, and got ready for a fight.
"Is Belinski stupid?" Chezky asked.
"No." Pavel replied. "If I'm guessing correctly, he's probably coming down off of drink vodka, and you know how he is when he's loosing his buzz."
"He's been drunk this entire time?" Chezky asked in a surprising tone.
"No." Pavel replied. "I think it's more of a blissfully haze rather than a state of drunkiness."
Meanwhile, the C.I.A. agent and Belinski were trading blows. Belinski kept trying to kick the C.I.A. agent, but his foe kept deflecting his attacks. The agent managed to land a blow right on Belinski, and despite all the pain, managed to find an opening. He punched the agent in the side of the ribs, and landed a kick onto the agent's genitals. The C.I.A. agent, feeling nothing but pain, lost his footing on the stairs. He fell backwards, and the first stair broke his neck. The body fell the rest of the way, and layed motionless on the next ledge.

C.I.A.: 2/K.G.B.: 3

Belinski put a hand on his stomach. "Wooo, that's the last time I fight when I still have some vodka."
Pavel and Chezky came down the stairs to check on their comrade. "You alright?" Pavel asked.
"I'm fine." Belinski replied. "You two keep going. I'll catch up after I get my breath back."
"Don't take too long." Chezky said.
Belinski knodded, and his two comrades proceeded down the stairs. He was still catching his breath, when he noticed something sticking out of the dead C.I.A. agent's shirt. He walked down to see what it was, when he realized that it was a cigar. Belinski took it out of the pocket, and gave it a big wiff. Fresh, he excitedly said. He put it in his mouth, and reached for his lighter. He lit the cigar, and gave a big puff. He put it back into his mouth, and that was when the explosion happened.

C.I.A.: 2/K.G.B.: 2

Pavel & Chezky heard the explosion as soon as they went out the fire escape door. They didn't look back: K.G.B. agents were taught that. They were now outside, but a bit further away from the garage then they had expected.
"Pavel, look." Chezky said as he pointed towards the Garage. "See, we're not that far off. Let's get moving!"
Pavel knodded, and the two K.G.B. agents started making their way towards the garage. Everything seemed okay, until two C.I.A. agents popped out of a car to Chezky right. They jumped behind a car right next to them. The sounds of bullets slamming against the car was a little unnerving, but it didn't shake their resolve.
"This is getting stupid." Chezky growled. He got up from behind the car, aimed his umbrella at the closest C.I.A. agent, and pushed the secret trigger. A small pellet flew out of the umbrella's tip, and landed into the agent's. The agent felt a small ***** but didn't react as anyone feeling poked in the shoulder would have.
"What the hell!?" yelled Chezky. "They told me this would work in an..."
Suddenly, a few bullets went right into his chest. Chezky stumbled backwards, then fell backwards onto the pavement. The ensuing impact cracked open the back of his skull, and blood and brainmatter started oozing out onto the hot black tar.

C.I.A.: 2/K.G.B.: 1

Pavel was now the last agent alive. It was now his mission to get back to the Soviet Union alive. He wated until the the gunfire stopped, then stood up from behind the car, and with both Kiparis Submachine Gun, unloaded both clips into the other vehicle. After just a few seconds, both clips were empty, and the barrels were smoking. Pavel waited for a moment, then he started walking towards the car. When he reached the car, he saw that one of the C.I.A. agents was dead, as there were nice, neat little holes all over his chest.

C.I.A.: 1/K.G.B.: 1

He was happy that one of them was dead, but was curious as to where the other agent went. He saw a trail of blood go around to the left side of the garage, and under a door. Cautiously, Pavel opened the door, and went inside. He looked around, and saw that the van he traveled in appeared to be untouched since his arrival. As for the blood trail, it was mysteriously gone. He went to the back of the van, opened up the door, and a crossbow was aimed right at his forehead. With one pull of the trigger, a bolt of steel went into his head, and turned his skull into a meaty shiskabob. Pavel's now lifeless body slammed against the front gargage door, and fell to the concrete floor.

C.I.A.: 1/K.G.B.: 0

The C.I.A. agent placed his crossbow down onto the van's bed. Finally, the agent thought to himself, I can relax. All that was left to do was take a look inside this strange vial I found on the front seat.
He pulled the cap off, and the whole van was engulfed in fire & shrapnel.
